COMMUNITY DIRECTOR LOW COUNTRY DIVISION-HILTON HEAD, SC The Community Director will organize and implement fundraising events and support mission driven programs, communication and public affairs activities. As a liaison between March of Dimes, its volunteers, and the local community, you will recruit and manage volunteers, oversee fundraising projects, access media attention to publicize and heighten awareness of the March of Dimes mission and events and solicit corporate and sponsorship participation. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 1 year experience is required. Excellent verbal, written, communication and computer skills are also required. You must be detail oriented, organized and able to manage multiple projects. Sales, marketing, volunteer management and development experience is preferred. The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously is essential. |
