WonderWalk

An outing at the Greenville Zoo, open to children up to age 8.
WonderWalk is a unique event that gives children ages 3-8 the opportunity to help ensure a healthy outcome for every baby by raising money for the March of Dimes. Through WonderWalk, a mini walk-a-thon modeled after March for Babies, children raise funds for a worthy cause and get to enjoy a fun-filled day at the zoo. In addition, teachers and daycare directors can feel good about participating in this free, fun, field trip. It’s also a great way for our youngest citizens to express their volunteerism and help the community around them. We all know that children can be society’s most giving and compassionate members.
All participants receive snacks, a goody bag, and a certificate from the March of Dimes – and in addition – prizes are awarded to those children who raise $50 or more. This may be a child’s first experience in volunteering to help others, but the March of Dimes hopes it will encourage a lifelong commitment to community service.
WonderWalk takes place Tuesday, October 7th, at 10:00a.m., with a rain-date of Tuesday, October 14th.
