	March of Dimes president meets with Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Honorable Michael O. Leavitt March of Dimes president Dr. Jennifer Howse met with Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Honorable Michael O. Leavitt, on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. This meeting followed a discussion with Assistant Secretary for Health, Dr. Joxel Garcia, and the Acting Surgeon General, Rear Admiral Steven K. Galson, to discuss next steps from the Surgeon General's Conference on the Prevention of Preterm Birth.
