TITLE: Director of Field Services
REPORTS TO: State Director
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
Recruit, train, supervise and develop Division Directors and/or community directors serve as liaison between the chapter and division staff. Recruit, train and develop high level volunteers for boards and committees Ensure overall financial success of divisions. Manage fundraising activities and major accounts. Participate as an active member of the management team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hire, supervise, direct and train community directors in the areas of fundraising, volunteer development, planning and budgeting.
- Recruit, train, and develop volunteers for leadership positions on division boards and event committees.
- Develop and monitor income and expense budget.
- Identify staff needs and develop and implement plan.
- Monitor core tactic process.
- Develop income and expense budgets, event logistics, volunteer recruitment, event assessment.
- Develop and grow relationships with key corporate and civic community leaders. Account manage major relationships.
- Define and implement staff and volunteer training.
- Participate as an active member of the Chapter management team.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to staff in assigned Divisions.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years in successful staff and volunteer management.
- Excellent networking skills.
- Experience in fundraising, event planning, corporate sponsorship, budgeting.
- Strong verbal and written skills, problem-solving, planning, implementation, organization and computer skills.
- Demonstrated leadership.
- Flexible hours and ability to travel. Car and valid driver’s license required.
