TITLE: Division Director
REPORTS TO: State Executive Director
LOCATION: Springfield, MO
REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position will be responsible for the organization and day-to-day management of volunteers, staff and fundraising events. Other responsibilities include overseeing program projects, committee and board functions, communications and community service projects within the division.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all fundraising events within the division
- Recruit and develop volunteers including board of directors
- Manage staff within the office (one additional part-time position)
- Oversee program activities
- Responsible for all communication efforts including event promotion and mission awareness
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 1-3 years experience.
- Fundraising as well as volunteer recruitment and development experience is required.
- Budgeting, problem-solving, planning, implementation, organization and leadership skills are a must.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and supervisory management skills are essential.
- Ability to travel within the southwest Missouri area.
