REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement
POSITION PURPOSE:
To provide support and technical assistance to chapter staff and volunteers in the successful completion of all fundraising activities within assigned chapters.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist chapter staff and volunteers in assigned chapters in planning and assessing current results and activities. Create action plans customized to the chapter’s needs and concerns which include goals, priorities and implementation plans. Assist chapters in identifying, recruiting, training and managing chapter volunteers.
Train staff and volunteers in assigned chapters in the conducting of all special events and the successful recruitment of volunteers so that both revenue and mission goals are attained.
Coordinate at the regional level and serve as liaison for national links to implement national fundraising goals and objectives.
Collaborate with other regional staff in the development and implementation of staff/volunteer regional trainings in the areas of fundraising and volunteer development.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Four year college degree or equivalent experience with 5 to 7 years directly related fundraising work experience with both staff and volunteers.
Demonstrated strong training and presentation skills. Demonstrated strong analytical, leadership, and creativity skills.
Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative approach.
Full knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
