• Recruit, develop and maintain strong volunteers for division program services committee, public affairs committees, and youth leadership council.
• Develop and participate in coalitions aimed at improving maternal and child health in the Central Valley Area with a specific focus on achieving measurable outcomes. 
• Manage volunteer committees to accomplish program and public affairs activities.
• Develop and manage Prematurity Campaign activities including Prematurity Awareness Month.
• Oversee the implementation of community programs such as Comenzando bien® and Stork’s Nest. 
• Manage the March of Dimes Mission Family program, in conjunction with other staff. 
• Act as liaison between March of Dimes and community prenatal intervention programs
• Coordinate Chapter’s annual grant making process at the Division level. 
• Heighten organization visibility by outreaching to and collaborating with agencies in communities with high rates of infant mortality and morbidity.
• Manage professional education activities at the division level.
• Participate as staff support for all fundraising activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Work or related field. Master’s Degree desirable.
• 3-5 years of experience in non-profit community health agencies. 
• Demonstrated commitment to improving the health of mothers and babies in low-income communities. 
• Experience working with diverse and underserved communities 
• Strong leadership, excellent written and verbal communication skills  
• Volunteer recruitment/management experience.
