SCHERERVILLE, INDIANA – A March of Dimes Indiana Chapter Ambassador Family is racing to save babies.  Philip Splant, pictured here with his son Nathan, who was born prematurely, owns and drives this limited late model race car.  Note the March of Dimes decal on the car, which will remain for the entire racing season.  Illiana Motor Speedway, part of the ASALSM Circuit, a feeder for NASCAR, the IndyCar Series and other oval-track racing, sponsored the 2nd Annual March of Dimes Night on April 21, 2007, donating gate fees and all proceeds from raffle drawings to the March of Dimes.
